As of January 16, 2025, forty-nine states and Washington D.C. have all had their applications for local rebate implementation approved and over $8.2billion for household rebates has been funded.
Twelve states across the US from the southwest to the northeast to the midwest have already launched their new energy efficiency rebate programs: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
That’s exciting news for homeowners across the country who can tap into those rebate programs to help reduce the cost of installing new home efficiency measures like insulation, windows, and heating and cooling equipment.
Households across the country are experiencing higher utility bills. Home energy efficiency not only helps increase the comfort and air quality in homes, but often can help save residents money on those monthly utility bills.
